Feedback

The following is genuine feedback received from actual users of the BikeAlive:

I feel so much safer cycling on both city streets and country roads since clipping my Bike Alive onto my bike. The device tends to keep the traffic further away from me -at least another half metre. It is easy to use and to remove or alter for cycling in company.Like other cyclists Ive had many near misses with traffic or else deliberate intimidation and with the Bike Alive I have more confidence that my space on the road is respected.

Hi there,

Just thought I would let you know how Bikealive has given me the confidence to get back on the road again. I had been away from cycling for some time due to an injury and I was getting the jitters every time I thought about getting back on the road. With Bikealive strapped on my bike I don’t get that horrid feeling of car wing mirrors aiming to shave the hairs on my arm. What a great feeling to be given a bit of space on the road. Cars don’t seem to come that close anymore and cycling is once again enjoyable. I would recommend Bikealive to anyone, whether you are a social or competitive rider.

It’s a great system for the serious commuter on suburban streets. I am confident of being seen from behind. Cars give me a wide berth, and I can easily flip the arm over to the other side if necessary.

- WOW, put the BIKEALIVE on the bike yesterday and we went for a test drive, the effect was incredible. I regularly cycle along Kaipaki and Mystery Creek Road behind our two primary aged cyclists. We wear fluoro jackets and ride single file clinging to the white line with me at the back. Yesterday the cars would have given us 2m more room, it was so obvious I even wondered if the stupid drivers may have a head on collision with the oncoming cars next, they still haven't considered slowing down for us but they are definitely giving us a wider berth about which I am over the moon.

Best of luck with the product, it definitely works around here.

Dear Peter,

Just to let you know how pleased I am with the BIKEALIVE I am using.
I bike frequently on SH2 between Tauranga and Katikati, as well as around the central roads of Tauranga.
I particularly notice the “wider berth” I am allowed by traffic on the many road bridges along SH2, where there is no shoulder to ride on.
This instils the sense of confidence that my bike and myself are really standing out, even in the bright sunlight.
I highly recommend BIKEALIVE to all cyclists.

Hi There, I purchased your device last week for my husband and he is thrilled to bits with it!! He cycles into University 3 or 4 days per week and he has had “thumbs up” from heaps of motorists, plus lots of enquiries from students and staff. Your web address has been passed on! Great invention Bikealive, well done.

Cheers

Hi,

I have just completed a Tour of Southland with three companions. Total distance travelled by bike was 558 kms travelling Kingston, Five Rivers, Mossburn, Te Anau, Manapouri, Tuatapere, Invercargill, Slope Point, Owaka, Nugget Point, and finishing at Balclutha.
We all wore fluro jackets and I had one of your lights flashing away on my bike all the time.

Your light is fantastic. Almost all motorists gave us plenty of room with many actually slowing down behind us until there was plenty of room to pass. And that included the buses between Mossburn and Te Anau. It had to be seen to be believed.

Thanks for a great invention.
